Okay, so we been having a few difficulties during these last few storms ... Such as NO water due to frozen pipes stemming from the well head.

The MVEA had alerted me that we were using 8kw per hour for several days.

"OK." I said.

"OK?" was the incredulous response.

"Not OK? "

"NO! That's a lot!"

"Ohhh ..."

"You are running space heaters, right?"

"Only 2. We have to have SOMETHING.” This is my 3rd Winter with NO heat. Our former home owner sold us a bill of no-goods and falsified documents ... So, NO main heat supply and 2 space heaters. So YES, it's COLD!!!"

After a few days of myself and Julie @ Billing Sleuthing ... We figured out the culprit: the well pump was running continuously! So NO water AGAIN!'

Fortunately a kind human from my Bible Study on the 5 Aspects of Woman is my Gunga Din and is letting me pack out at least 30 some odd gallons of water ... Which is just enough to whet our thirsts and make my arms longer!

This is where our non-profit Aussies Love 2 Share comes in! Our volunteers work on the farm to make a better home for our dogs and update our facilities. We teach our volunteers how to work with dogs and train Australian Shepherds and life skills regarding farm maintenance and home repair/construction!
