Winter Mornings
Winter Mornings
I love the look of the scantily draped grasslands even through a dirty and frozen shut window -- it's like a lace or crocheted blanket of white and gold interspersed with tufts of grass, sage, and last year's whirling dervishes: remains of the ignoble tumbleweed. It's peaceful and will soon become the canvas of great activity when the rainbow-colored AUSSIES go to play on the back 40 delighting even in the dusting of last night's snowfall!
Meanwhile I hunt for my newer unmatched slippers ... I hope to find 2 , one for each foot be they right or left, while puppies reach up to greet me on each unpainted leg -- they in adoration -- me wincing from needle-like little claws ... Morning has officially begun at 730am, 5 hrs after I served them breakfast at 230 ... I don't think they ever get a fast to break ... So I normally call EVERYTHING: DINNER ... "WINNER WINNER, ETC FOR DINNER!"
